 Steve Andrusiak is a journalist. He is also the CEO of Story Village- an independent news service in East London, Ontario, Canada.
He was born in Montreal, where he graduated from Concordia University. He later earned an M.Ed. at the University of Toronto.
Steve has a broad and deep background in TV and radio news and public affairs- having worked for CTV and for the CBC in Toronto, Edmonton, Windsor, Charlottetown and London. He has been a reporter, writer, producer and twice an executive producer.
Steve teaches Media Ethics and Television Journalism at the University of Western Ontario. He is also a public speaker, offering presentations about story telling, writing and the media. Prior to this he was a Chair at Fanshawe College where he led 11 diploma and post diploma programs. He helped start a joint media studies program with UWO and initiated Fanshawe’s first Theatre Arts Performance program.
Steve also has had the privilege of leading a "small but mighty" team at the University of Windsor where he was the Associate Director of Teaching and Learning Development. He and his wife Larysa have three children- Natalie, Michael and Paul. All live in London.
