What we are and what we will become -

Story Village is a new independent news service that was founded by Steve Andrusiak.  We focus on East London- its people, their stories, its rhythmic energy and diversity.  Story Village provides news and features and it will do so in a growing variety of media formats and platforms.  It aims to compliment and enhance the high quality journalism that already thrives throughout Southwestern Ontario. .

Story Village Offers -

1. Web and print media articles about East London.
2. A distribution centre for reports by Steve Andrusiak and his colleagues.
3. A showcase of programs and reliable news about life and its little surprises in East London.
4. We aim to become a dependable listening post for rich narratives, interviews and entertainment.
5. Soon we will offer podcast and radio reports.

Our Journalistic Policy -

• Story Village does not solicit or accept payment for the stories we tell. 
• Our advertising revenue comes from sponsorships that are independent of our editorial content.
• The stories you see and read were selected based on their news value, general interest and other editorial considerations.
• We are guided by the Radio Television News Directors Code of Ethics and the Code of Ethics of the Canadian Association of Journalists.
• Story Village is a member of the CAJ and RTNDA, Canada.

To Publish or to Assign Stories -

• Story Village is also a freelance service to local, national and international media outlets. 
• Our stories can be purchased for publication and must not be used without permission.
• We are also available for specific story assignments for print, web, radio and television.
